Everything comes from a dream

Chef Enzo, the head of the family with a big heart and wise hands, dreamed of creating this pizza class. He has spent his life raising awareness of the culinary art of the Amalfi Coast. His passion is rooted in history, the land, and sharing. We have decided to continue transmitting this passion through these pizza class experiences in a convivial and informal atmosphere to people from all corners of the world.

For decades, thanks to Trattoria Pizzeria Da Maria, which was inherited from his parents, Luigi and Maria, Enzo and his wife, Carmela, have shared their love for this land nestled between the sea and the mountains. Enzo has brought this love to each of his dishes, which are made with zero-kilometer ingredients from the Amalfi land and waters. He has shared this love with the same charming enthusiasm that distinguishes him.

Authentic experience in Amalfi

At 70, with the same energy and friendliness that made him famous when he ran the historic restaurant in Amalfi’s main square, Enzo is still the beating heart of this new adventure. Around him, as always, there are us, his family: a close-knit, real team that has decided to turn his dream into reality. This is how our pizza classes were born—an authentic experience to be enjoyed amid the lush greenery of the Ferriere Valley, in the heart of Amalfi. In a fragrant garden surrounded by lemon trees and rare flora, we welcome you as if you were at home. It’s not just a lesson on how to make pizza; it’s an opportunity to spend time together kneading dough, smiling, tasting, and listening to stories about family and tradition.

Family, tradition, territory

Joining Enzo in this adventure in particular are his daughter Chiara and grandson Vincenzo, a passionate young man who enthusiastically carries on the family spirit. Each with their own role, each with a piece of their heart in this project.

We are more than just a business; we are a family that has worked together forever. We want to show visitors the most authentic Amalfi, full of  passion, hospitality and simplicity, with the preparation of pizza as a means of telling the story of a territory and a way of life.
